Great Prints and Fiwasaye Girls Grammar Win Ondo Central Round of KIDSCON 2026

Hundreds of pupils and students from over 100 schools in Ondo State gathered at FUTA on Saturday, January 23, 2026 for the Ondo Central qualifying round of KIDSCON 2026. Five secondary and three primary schools secured spots in the grand finale in December. Great Prints International School claimed first in the secondary category, followed by Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School and Greater Tomorrow Secondary. Pathway Primary School topped the primary category, with Lincoln Montessori and Kinder School in second and third. Convener Mrs. Funmi Bankole thanked everyone for their support, especially the Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo. She explained that KIDSCON celebrates young talent, promotes moral values, and fosters unity across social backgrounds. The programme will expand to all senatorial districts, with special focus on hard-to-reach and riverine communities. Winners received trophies, and raffle participants got consolation prizes. Students and school leaders praised the platform for boosting creativity, confidence, and teamwork.
