WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY (June 5, 2026 · Day 156) Inner government is the spiritual ability to control thoughts, emotions, words, and actions by the Holy Spirit’s guidance. It aligns our inner life with God’s wisdom, not by suppressing feelings but by mastering them. True authority begins within. It shows itself in stability under pressure, disciplined speech, wise reactions, and victory over impulses. Christ demonstrated perfect self-control and teaches us restraint in every situation. We lose this battle through impulsive reactions, weak spiritual maturity, pride, and lack of prayerful reflection. To walk in victory: 1. Practice silence before reacting 2. Submit emotions to the Holy Spirit 3. Develop consistent prayer 4. Think before speaking or acting 5. Train your spirit through God’s Word Am I governed by emotions or by the Spirit? Lord Jesus, help me rule my spirit and live in wisdom and restraint. Amen.
