Makes sense, a solid understanding of shipping operations and proven teaching or presentation experience will definitely help.

They mention assisting in curriculum development and practical training, but the description feels vague on mentorship support and workload expectations.

It sounds promising, but a junior lecturer without substantial sea time might struggle to deliver truly credible practical training.

If you're considering applying, be sure to highlight any navigation simulator experience and mention specific training modules you helped develop in your CV.
