Apply Now: ECOWAS Recruitment Open Until April 30, 2026

The Economic Community of West African States has launched a regional recruitment drive for technical and administrative roles. Candidates from all member states can apply for positions across sectors such as administration, finance, trade, infrastructure, health, telecommunications, legal affairs and security. Available vacancies are spread across Abuja, Dakar, Conakry, Monrovia and other centres. Openings include office assistants, programme officers, accountants, legal officers, political advisers and director-level posts. To apply, submit a completed application form, CV and cover letter via email by April 30, 2026. Age limits apply: up to 35 years for general service, 45 years for professional roles and 50 years for director-level positions. The process is free and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. ECOWAS encourages women to apply and advises all applicants to monitor official channels for updates. Established in 1975, ECOWAS promotes economic integration among 15 West African countries.

I find it surprising they're covering administration, finance, trade, infrastructure, health, and telecoms in one drive—it could stretch their resources thin.

Opening applications across every member state sounds inclusive, but risks sidelining candidates from smaller countries with fewer support networks.
