ACF Celebrates 25 Years with Service Awards for Akume, Dangote, Wamakko and Danjuma

The Arewa Consultative Forum marked its silver jubilee in Kaduna with a ceremony at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Conference Hall. Chaired by former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, the event honoured Senator Aliyu Wamakko, Sen. George Akume, Lt-Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (retd) and business magnate Aliko Dangote among others. Wamakko received the Distinguished Service Award for his contributions to the forum and selfless service to Nigeria. He described the honour as a testament to collective dedication and urged leaders to serve their communities with excellence. The gathering included former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, Sardaunan Zazzau and Kaduna’s Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Balarabe. The awards underscored ACF’s 25-year commitment to northern unity, good governance and regional development.
