ADC Calls for Independent Probe Into PFIPC Allegations, Urges Gbajabiamila to Step Aside
The African Democratic Congress has called for an independent investigation into allegations linked to the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and its purported Director General, Adeniyi Adeyemi. The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the allegations have harmed Nigeria’s image and raised concerns about alleged racketeering within the presidency. He urged President Bola Tinubu to ensure a transparent probe that clears any doubts about official complicity. Abdullahi also said Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila should step aside temporarily to allow an independent investigation, arguing that this would help establish the facts and protect his reputation.
