Ogun Police Bust Robbery and Burglary Ring, Arrest Seven Across Sango-Ota, Ofada and Agbado
Ogun State Police Command has rounded up seven suspects linked to armed robbery, house-breaking, stealing and conspiracy in coordinated raids across Sango-Ota, Owode-Egba and Agbado. In Sango-Ota Division, three suspects were arrested after residents tipped off officers following an attack in Alasia Community. Police recovered a locally made pistol and spent cartridge during the operation. At Owode-Egba, one suspect was nabbed for allegedly breaking into a shop in Ofada and tied to other burglary cases in Sun City Estate. Two more were intercepted in Treasure Island Estate with stolen appliances in a sack. In Agbado, officers arrested one man found with a knife near a secondary school, preventing potential panic. All suspects remain in custody as investigations continue and police intensify efforts to dismantle criminal networks.
