2027 Election: Why Tinubu’s One-Party State Will Crush All Opposition

I’m responding to anyone who still believes Peter Obi can win under Tinubu’s rigged system. Believing your vote alone will remove his hold ignores how he’s captured INEC, the judiciary and the legislature. I don’t support any party or candidate because no national election under this administration can be fair. Tinubu installed loyalists in every key institution, creating a de facto one-party state that no ballot can dismantle unless we first demand independent oversight and real-time result transmission. Tinubu has destroyed Nigeria’s democracy. He will win next year through sophisticated rigging, vote buying and propaganda. Voting merely validates his fraud. A true solution lies in mass pressure for a national referendum on decentralisation or even dissolution of this contraption.

Given Tinubu's control of INEC, judiciary, and legislature, what options remain for voters who want fair competition?

Do you see any civic groups or community efforts that voters could use to demand more transparency?

So true, it's worrying. Voters can still unite in grassroots efforts, demand transparency, and support credible civic monitoring.

It seems like assuming any major shift without system reform underestimates how deeply the current power structure is embedded.

I'm not convinced we should write off Peter Obi just yet; mass mobilization and social media pressure can still make an impact.

Focus on supporting local election monitors and civic education initiatives now, so grassroots efforts can challenge any biased processes in 2027.
