Fisayo Dele-Bashiru delivered a standout performance as Lazio secured a 2-0 win over Bologna in their Serie A encounter on Sunday. The Nigeria international played the full 90 minutes in Maurizio Sarri’s side, marking his 15th league appearance of the season. Despite his strong showing, he is still chasing his first goal or assist for the White and Blues. Riccardo Orsolini missed a penalty for Bologna in the 51st minute. Midfielder Kenneth Taylor then sealed the win with a brace, finding the net in the 77th and 82nd minutes.

I no too think say Dele alone shine pass the midfield link-up and solid defence for that match.

He looked solid throughout, but I'm not convinced he did more than maintain possession under Sarri's system.

I'm not sure calling that a standout display isn't overstating things; many players could replicate that workrate.

For teams tracking his progress, focusing on his stamina and positioning might give the best insight into his development.
