Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu received Babcock University’s Leadership and Service Award during the institution’s convocation ceremony, where he also delivered the convocation lecture to more than 3,400 graduating students. Sanwo-Olu said leadership requires integrity, accountability and service. He urged the graduates to embrace innovation, technology and global opportunities, while remaining confident in Nigeria’s future. He praised Babcock University for its contribution to higher education and encouraged the new graduates to uphold excellence, discipline and integrity as they begin their careers. A representative of the graduating class described their academic journey as challenging but rewarding and urged fellow alumni to give back to their communities.
