Ajah Tenant Arraigned for Unauthorized Alteration of Rented Apartment

A tenant at Vintage Estate, Ajah was arrested for allegedly partitioning his rented apartment without his landlord’s consent. He is accused of moving the bathroom door and damaging walls in breach of the state’s building plan. The landlord reported the matter to the police, and the tenant was charged before Igbosere Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of ₦100,000 with two sureties. The case will be mentioned on August 14.
