At about 1:00 a.m. on April 10, 2026, vigilant residents in the Gada area on the outskirts of Kazaure town halted a Volkswagen Golf they suspected was carrying explosive materials. When confronted, the occupants fled and abandoned both the vehicle and its contents. Security analyst Zagazola Makama confirmed that items believed to be explosives were found in the car. The vehicle and recovered materials were evacuated and handed over to security agents. Authorities are now investigating the nature of the consignment and pursuing the fleeing suspects.
