Reno Omokri and Peter Obi’s Brief Exchange at Abuja Airport

Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to Mexico, Reno Omokri, shared a short video of his meeting with former Anambra State governor Peter Obi at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. In the 35-second clip, Omokri approaches Obi near a seating area and greets him by name. The two shake hands as Omokri, dressed in a green traditional outfit and cap, briefly touches Obi’s arm while exchanging a few words. After their cordial interaction, Obi picks up his luggage and walks toward the departure hall as the video ends.

It seems like a brief greeting captured for attention but lacks substantive discussion about policy or collaboration beyond pleasantries.

If they truly plan collaboration, we should watch for concrete policy announcements or joint statements rather than subtle nods at an airport.
