Socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has dismissed reports that he participated and lost in the APC primary for Ideato North and South Federal Constituency in Imo State. In an Instagram post, he explained that he never entered the race after learning that his local government was excluded from fielding a candidate. He said he left Imo State for Lagos immediately and challenged anyone to prove they saw him at the venue. The primary concluded with the incumbent lawmaker retaining the party ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections.
