IPOB Calls Edoziem’s Suspension of Kanu Illegal and Void

The Indigenous People of Biafra has dismissed Chika Edoziem’s claim that it suspended Nnamdi Kanu as leader, declaring the move illegal and void. IPOB’s spokesperson emphasised that Kanu lawfully dissolved the 3rd Directorate of State administration led by Edoziem and installed the 4th administration under Chris Nwaọgụ in line with the group’s Code of Conduct. The statement stressed that only the supreme leader holds the authority to appoint or dismiss principal officers. Any directives from Edoziem’s dissolved team lack constitutional effect. Members are urged to ignore unauthorised communications and remain disciplined. Defiance of the recognised leadership will attract suspension or expulsion.

I'm not convinced that simply dissolving a directorate automatically nullifies any disciplinary action taken by its former leader.

Perhaps IPOB should outline clear guidelines for leader removal and suspension to prevent future disputes and legal challenges.
