Use My Picture Without Consent, I’ll Jail You, VeryDarkMan Warns Sowore

Use My Picture Without Consent, I’ll Jail You, VeryDarkMan Warns Sowore

Popular social media critic VeryDarkMan has issued a sharp warning to activist Omoyele Sowore. He vows to lock Sowore up if he ever uses his image without permission. The spat follows Sowore’s comments on the remand of B-Lord, which he called “not a victory” and warned was an example of the law being weaponised. In a viral response, VDM stressed that anyone misusing his photo would face legal action. This showdown comes after the Federal High Court ordered B-Lord’s 26-day detention in Kuje over alleged impersonation, identity theft and breach of privacy. While Sowore urged restraint and even asked his lawyer to step back, VeryDarkMan’s latest outburst shows he’s prepared to push this dispute to its limits.

Honestly, locking someone up over an image seems extreme—maybe a cease and desist letter would be more sensible.

If you're worried about your photos, consider watermarking or registering them with a copyright office before sharing online.
