APGA Media Warriors Reject Witch-Hunt Allegations in Bishop Nwankpa’s Arrest

Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe dismissed suggestions that the arrest of Bishop Emeka Nwankpa and other suspected fake pastors was politically motivated. He called claims of a political witch-hunt unfounded and said the legal action responds to genuine allegations against the cleric. Obigwe argued that portraying the prosecution as political pressure aims to force the Anambra State Government to drop the charges. He downplayed Nwankpa’s political influence in Onitsha North II Constituency, noting he has never won at his polling unit or ward. The APGA chieftain commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s focus on reforms and good governance. He insisted residents are benefiting from the administration’s policies rather than witnessing any politically driven persecution.
