Chelle Names Okonkwo, Azeez and Moffi in Super Eagles XI for Unity Cup Clash

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has confirmed his starting lineup for tonight’s Unity Cup semi-final against Zimbabwe. Wrexham’s Arthur Okonkwo will start in goal ahead of Francis Uzoho. The full-back spots go to Enugu Rangers duo Chibueze Oputa and Obinna Ogbuke, while Chibuike Nwaiwu partners Igoh Ogbu in central defence. Midfield is anchored by Samson Tijani, with support from Tochukwu Nnadi and Alhassan Yusuf. Up front, Terem Moffi leads the attack, flanked by Femi Azeez and Philip Otele.

Naming Azeez and Moffi up front shows Chelle wants more firepower, but the defense still looks untested under pressure.

The coach should focus on set-piece drills before kickoff, that could decide the match if it stays tight.
