Ryan Alebiosu Questions Late Penalty as Blackburn Draw 2-2 With Wolves

Super Eagles defender Ryan Alebiosu says he is frustrated by the stoppage-time penalty that denied Blackburn Rovers an opening-day win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship. Blackburn had recovered from Marshall Munetsi's early goal through Sean McLoughlin and Andri Gudjohnsen and were leading 2-1 at Molineux. However, a late cross struck Alebiosu's arm, and referee Farai Hallam awarded Wolves a penalty. Raúl Jiménez converted to make it 2-2. Alebiosu believes he was outside the penalty area when the ball hit his arm. He praised Blackburn's effort and said the team can have a strong season if they keep playing with the same intensity.
