Ogun Police Strengthen Security Measures to Boost Chinese Investments
The Ogun State Police Command has renewed its commitment to protecting Chinese nationals and securing investments across the state. The Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, hosted a delegation from the Chinese Consulate at the Command Headquarters in Abeokuta to deepen security collaboration and diplomatic ties. Recalling his international policing experience at INTERPOL’s National Central Bureau in Lagos, CP Ojajuni promised intensified intelligence-led operations and visible patrols around key industrial and economic corridors. He highlighted the strategic role of Chinese investments in driving the state’s growth and pledged a safer environment to boost investor confidence. In support of these efforts, the Chinese Consulate donated communication gadgets, including walkie-talkies, to enhance emergency response and coordination. The gesture underlines both sides’ readiness to sustain cooperation in maintaining peace, fostering business growth, and strengthening Nigeria–China relations.
