Supreme Court Clears PDP NWC Amid Anyanwu Suspension Saga
When you choose to lie to yourself, you lose credibility. Governor Seyi Makinde’s Amala Convention and its leaders were swept aside by the Supreme Court’s judgment, yet they claim the court endorsed the suspension of Senator Samuel Anyanwu and invalidated the Abdulrahman-led NWC. In truth, the court made no ruling on any suspension or the NWC’s validity. Even if Anyanwu’s suspension had been valid, it lasted only from November 1 to 30, 2025, ending eight days before the caretaker committee formed on December 8, 2025. So there is no legal barrier to his participation. Since they prefer to live in a fool’s paradise, I urge Taofeek Arapaja and Makinde’s consensus candidates to get their forms from Senator Wabara’s BOT and join the real PDP train. As for me, I’m celebrating this victory with palm wine and bush meat in Oke Agbonna. If you’re not deceiving yourself, feel free to join me.
