Golden Eaglets Fly to China for July U-17 Invitational

Nigeria’s five-time world champion Golden Eaglets depart for Yinchuan, China, on Thursday night to compete in the 2026 China International Youth Football Tournament. Head coach Uwejamomere Eboboritse names a 20-man squad assisted by Kalli Mohammed Kachalla and Abdullahi Isa. The Eaglets will face hosts China, Australia and Tanzania at the Yinchuan Sports Centre Helanshan Stadium from July 5 to July 11. This four-team invitational, organised by the Ningxia Football Association and local sports authorities, will serve as a final tune-up ahead of September’s 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship – the regional qualifier for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
