DJ Chicken Walks Free on N1M Bail After Threat Charge

Controversial content creator DJ Chicken is out of custody after fulfilling bail conditions set by a Lagos Magistrate Court. He was arraigned for allegedly threatening to kill Seyi Tinubu. The charges include violations of the Cybercrimes Act, breach of peace and making threats. He pleaded not guilty. Bail was granted at N1 million with two sureties. One must be a civil servant, the other a community leader. Each must provide tax clearance, utility bills, national ID and Lagos residency proof. One surety must also be a blood relative. Social media reports confirmed his release on July 21. The case has been adjourned until August 3, 2026, pending fulfillment of bail terms.
