Maikaba Still Waiting on NFF Decision as Siasia and Amokachi Eye U-23 Olympic Role

Abdu Maikaba confirms he submitted his application for the Flying Eagles coaching job but says the NFF has yet to contact him. Contrary to reports naming him as Aliyu Zubairu’s replacement, he remains in the dark and is still waiting for official feedback. Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has also applied to lead the U-23 Olympic team after Salisu Yusuf’s exit to a Benin Republic club, with Daniel Amokachi among those in contention.
