Two Reasons I Stopped Chasing Worldly Desires

Temptations to pursue money, possessions, or relationships are common. Yet by God’s grace, I choose not to chase these things. First, I experienced the fear of God early in life after rejecting His call many times. This transformed my heart the hard way. Second, the Lord taught me to value what comes from above rather than what is passing or uncertain. I receive from the Father and let temporary things fade away, as John 6:37 reminds us: “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”
