NPFL Title Race Unsettled, Says Ilechukwu

NPFL Title Race Unsettled, Says Ilechukwu

Rangers technical adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu insists the Nigeria Premier Football League title race remains wide open with five games left. Despite a goalless draw against Barau FC at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, the Flying Antelopes reclaimed top spot as Rivers United slipped to second after losing 2-0 to Warri Wolves. Ilechukwu warned that nothing is decided yet and stressed the team’s focus on preparing for their next match away to Niger Tornadoes.

Ilechukwu keeps saying it's wide open, but last year's leaders still look strongest despite that goalless draw.

Teams need to tighten defence and capitalise on set pieces if they want to keep pace in these last five games.
