Alex Ekubo’s Private Battle with Stage 4 Liver Cancer Revealed

New details have emerged about the circumstances surrounding the late actor’s passing. Nollywood filmmaker Stanley Ontop revealed that Alex was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in 2024. He underwent a liver transplant and even returned to work for a short time. Sadly, complications set in after the new liver failed and his condition worsened until his death. Stanley also appealed to the public to stop sharing unverified rumours and to respect Alex’s family during this difficult period. May he rest in peace.
