Teenager Allegedly Dies After Beating by Security Operatives in Taraba Over MP3 Player and Power Bank

A 15-year-old boy, Busang Ayuka, reportedly died at the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo, after allegedly being beaten by members of a state-backed neighbourhood security outfit in Baruwa, Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State. According to a Facebook post, the incident started after a dispute over an MP3 player and a power bank. The post called for a full and transparent investigation, and urged community leaders and other stakeholders to intervene and ensure justice for the boy.
