Suspected Insurgents Kill Eight, Including Police Inspector, in Adamawa Community Attack

Suspected insurgents attacked Gaya community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing eight people, including a police inspector and seven civilians. The late-night raid also saw homes set ablaze and shops looted. Joint security teams made up of soldiers, police officers and local hunters have been deployed to pursue the attackers. Community leaders are calling for stronger security along known movement routes to prevent further insurgent attacks.
