Engr. Mohammed Sharu Elected Chairman of Niger State Volleyball Association

The Niger State Sports Commission has officially informed the Nigeria Volleyball Federation of Engr. Mohammed Sharu’s election as Chairman of the Niger State Volleyball Association. In a letter dated June 10, 2026, the commission highlighted Sharu’s dedication and outstanding contributions to volleyball in the state. Secretary Baba Sheshi noted that under his leadership, grassroots talent discovery, player development, and organizational structure will see significant progress. The commission also expressed confidence in a strong partnership with NVBF President Engineer Musa Nimrod to elevate volleyball across Niger State and beyond.
