The Unprovoked Attacks on Peter Obi by Reno Omokri and Other Critics

Many influencers and content creators—Reno Omokri, FFK, Kenneth Okonkwo and others—have launched personal attacks on Peter Obi and even insulted business leaders like Dangote, Otedola and Elemelu. Peter Obi’s only “offence” is his vision for a corruption-free political future. He graduated from Christ the King College, Onitsha, and from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1984. Before entering politics he built a strong business resume. He chaired and managed firms such as Fidelity Bank, Next International and Guardian Express Mortgage Bank. He also held executive roles at Data Corp, Paymaster Nigeria and Card Centre, and served with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
