Eight married Nigerians shared the appliances they believe have reduced everyday tension in their households. Their picks include dishwashers for dirty plates, freezers and refrigerators for food storage, air fryers for safer frying, industrial blenders for pepper and soup preparation, and washing machines for growing laundry piles after childbirth. Others said a microwave ended late-night disputes over warming food, while a solar system could reduce arguments caused by power outages and high generator fuel costs. The suggested budgets range from about ₦50,000 for some appliances to ₦3 million for a solar setup.
