Teen Defender Adebisi Olamikun Joins Sporting Braga in €50,000 Transfer

Portuguese side Sporting Braga has signed 18-year-old defender Adebisi Olamikun from NPFL club Inter Lagos. Olamikun arrived in Portugal on a long-term deal reported to be worth €50,000. He will begin in Braga’s youth setup with hopes of earning promotion to the senior squad. He is the eighth Nigerian to join Sporting Braga, joining the ranks of former players such as AFCON 2013 winner Elderson Echiejile. Braga, founded in 1921, play at the Estádio Municipal de Braga and have won three Portuguese Cups, three League Cups, the last UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2008 and reached the Europa League final in 2011.
