Flight Cancelled After Child Refused to Wear Seat Belt
A Porter Airlines flight from Victoria, Canada, to Toronto was cancelled after a young child repeatedly refused to sit down and fasten their seat belt. The airline said the parent and cabin crew tried to resolve the situation, but the aircraft had to return to the terminal so the parent and child could be removed. Their baggage was also offloaded. The delay pushed the flight beyond the airport's 12:30 a.m. runway closure, forcing all remaining passengers to disembark. They were rebooked for a flight the following day.
