TCN Warns of Sunday Power Cut in Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Bauchi and Yobe

TCN Warns of Sunday Power Cut in Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Bauchi and Yobe

The Transmission Company of Nigeria says maintenance work at the Kumbotso 330kV transmission substation in Kano will cause a temporary power outage this Sunday. Affected areas include Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Azare in Bauchi and Nguru in Yobe. Customers under KEDCO, parts of JEDC and YEDC will have no supply during the upgrade. The work involves replacing conductors and upgrading equipment to strengthen the national grid and improve electricity reliability in the long term. TCN assures customers that these efforts will enhance the quality and stability of power supply going forward.
