I always believed graduation would sort everything out. A job would come, money would follow, and life would finally move forward. Reality, however, had other plans. After finishing university, I found myself stuck with no clear direction. My days blurred into job searches and endless waiting. That in-between phase really messes with your confidence. Then I realized waiting is not a plan. I began exploring short, skill-focused courses—digital marketing, data analysis, UI/UX design, content writing and basic tech skills. Many of these you can start in weeks, not years. Once I got going, I felt more in control. I wasn’t just “waiting” anymore; I was building something.
