Defence Minister Hails NDA Course 27 Alumni’s Role in National Security

At the 40th anniversary reunion of NDA Short Service Combatant Course 27 in Abuja, Defence Minister retired General Christopher Musa underscored the Armed Forces’ vital role in Nigeria’s stability and unity. He praised Course 27 alumni for their contributions in counterinsurgency, peace support operations, and internal security. Represented by retired Major-General Bala Isandu, the minister urged both serving and retired officers to sustain professionalism, unity, and operational discipline. He emphasized that complex security challenges demand stronger cohesion at every command level. In a goodwill message, retired Major-General John Malu reflected on the bond forged since 1986. He celebrated shared sacrifices, enduring friendship, and the alumni’s impact on national development.
