Nollywood star Rechael Okonkwo marked the second anniversary of Junior Pope’s tragic death with an emotional tribute. She described losing him as one of the hardest blows she’s ever faced and revealed that no day has gone by without him on her mind. Rechael said Pope was not just a colleague; he was her brother, her strength and a beautiful soul who filled every room with warmth. She praised his kindness, love and pure heart and vowed to always remember his light. Junior Pope drowned at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set. Since his passing, many colleagues – from his wife Jennifer to Yul Edochie’s wife May and fellow stars like Empress Njamah and Destiny Etiko – have shared tributes. Nigerian businessman E-Money also pledged to support the late actor’s children.
