NNPC Ltd Posts N481bn April Profit as Revenue Soars 79%

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited reported a profit after tax of N481 billion for April 2026, up from N276 billion in March. Crude output rose to 1.68 million barrels per day, a 7.7% increase, while oil revenue jumped 79.2% to N4.97 trillion. Gas production held steady at 7,730 mmscf/d and cumulative statutory payments from January to April reached N3.714 trillion. The April report also highlighted the completion of the OB3 River Niger Crossing and ongoing work on the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano gas pipeline, with early gas delivery to Abuja slated for later in 2026.
