Rotary Club of Iju Springs Inducts New Members
Tagged "Rotary Opens Opportunities", it was a blissful Saturday morning as smiles were plastered on the faces of members of Rotary Club of Iju Spring- District 9110, when they welcomed popular Rotarian leaders, Ibikunle (Omole Golden), Kayode Owolabi and Lanre Kassim (a Past Acting Governor) to their Fellowship and Induction of new members during a purpose laden convention today, August 29th 2020 at Climax Hotels- Iju, Lagos. Initiating today's privileged affair with a special vote of thanks to notable Rotarians who facilitated the occasion, especially Hon. Abayomi Oluwajimi Bickesteth's, Kayode Owolabi and prominent others. The Secretary of host community- Ifako Ijaiye Local Government Area- Ayo Jeje, including Past District Governor Kola Shodipo were also introduced and joined the High Table alongside opportunity Rotarian leaders, Past Acting Governors and Board members. Moved to render an extensive overview of the recently established Iju Springs charitable activities (est.30th January 2019) which currently ranks among the Best 20 Clubs within District 9110, the opportunity Leader's report analysis pointed out that the club’s total number of membership could be improved and urged everyone to bring new members to every meeting as he confirmed the induction of new members. "The more we are the merrier- and what are you able to give to empower fellow human beings. Professional networking, Personal growth, Friendship, Good Citizenship" joined to impress earlier stated facts that Friendship is the heart of Rotary membership and to sustain friendship requires showing the type of love that gives a sense of loving, fulfilment despite diversity in culture, religion or whatever. The Opportunity Leader also stated the clubs stance on partnering with communities to execute projects on healthcare, sometimes even in collaboration with mother Club- Omole Golden, which has given 13 incubators to Ifako Ijaiye Local Government Area. Journalist Rotarian and Past Acting Governor Lanre Kassim gave a spectacular "Projector-assisted" lecture on Rotary Club’s core values and progressive demands, alongside in depth information about a community that opens opportunities. The highlight of today's fellowship was the induction of 7 new members, including a Customary Courts officer into the Rotary family. While inducting Rtrn Adeola Anjorin Rtrn. Bisi Akintunde Rtrn.
