Constitutional Expert Disputes Authenticity of Viral APC Abia Primary Video
Uche Agbaeze Okocha is a public law researcher focusing on constitutional and administrative law. He is an APC member in Abia State and says the viral video of vote counting in the recent presidential primary lacks authenticity. In the clip, Deputy Speaker Hon. Benjamin Kalu stands in line to vote while Chinasa Frank leads the counting. The footage raised doubts about accuracy. Nationwide, Tinubu polled 10,999,162 votes, while Stanley Osifo secured 16,503. Speaking on Vision Africa Radio in Umuahia, Uche hailed the primary as a revival of grassroots participation. He said it demonstrated equity, natural justice and respect for constitutional electoral guidelines. He added that he has seen no proof of irregularities and stressed that only aggrieved APC members can challenge results internally before going to court. He rated the process 8 out of 10 for credibility.
