Two passengers are set to appear in court after allegedly lighting cigarettes and triggering the smoke alarm aboard an Air Peace flight from South Africa to Lagos. Authorities say the men also resisted cabin crew directives and carried alcohol, creating panic among passengers and crew. They were handed over to the Airport Police upon arrival at MMIA, Ikeja. The Airport Police Command condemned their conduct as a serious breach of aviation safety regulations. The suspects will be formally arraigned once investigations conclude.
