Ex-Zamfara SSA Alleges Police Killed Activist Dadiyata and Extorted ₦3.6M
Musa Muhammad Kamarawa, former Special Adviser to Zamfara’s ex-governor, has petitioned the IGP with explosive claims against two senior police officers. He alleges they killed activist Dadiyata and others during Operation Yaki in Kaduna and warned him he could be next. Kamarawa says the officers threatened his life, forced him to withdraw ₦3.6 million from his account under duress, and seized his contract materials. He also accuses them of presenting a fraudulent search warrant to raid his home without legal authority and confiscating money, gold, and valuables that have never been returned. In his letter, he warns of a pattern of extrajudicial killings used to silence political figures. He has called for a thorough, independent investigation into these officers’ conduct to prevent further abuses within the force.
