Why DNA Testing Is More Important Than Traditional Weddings

I read the latest Smart DNA Report this morning. It shows that one in four paternity tests in Nigeria returns negative. Even more striking: 64% of first-born sons aren’t biologically related to the men who raised them. As a bachelor, I’m starting to think our approach to trust is flawed. When a man asks for a DNA test, the woman is accused of being unfaithful. Yet we accept other checks, like immigration clearances, without question. If you have nothing to hide, a DNA test should be as routine as checking blood type before dating. Why is scientific certainty in relationships still taboo? Is it better to trust blindly or to demand proof in the 2026 dating scene? What do you think? Would you rather be a trusting partner or a scientific skeptic?
