Swedish actor Kjell Nilsson, best known as Lord Humungus in Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior), has passed away at the age of 76. His film credits include The Pirate Movie (1982), the TV movie Man of Letters (1984), and The Edge of Power (1987). Nilsson moved to Australia in 1980 to train for the Moscow Olympics in weight lifting, where he met actress Kate Ferguson and later returned to pursue acting. A statement on his Facebook page confirmed he died peacefully in his sleep on July 2 in Queensland. He had battled end-stage kidney disease for over four years, receiving dialysis three times a week.
