When Asking for Help Feels Like a Demand
Lately, people come asking for help but act as if they owe you something. They show entitlement, pride and even threaten to block you if you refuse. True appeals for support usually include humility and respect. But when “I need help” shifts to “I expect you to help me,” gratitude vanishes. Instead of requests, they become demands and take offence at refusals. Remember, help is given, not owed. If respect is missing from the start, it won’t appear later. How would you handle someone who begs but turns aggressive when you can’t meet their demand?
