Hookup Scam Alert: Beware of Alleged Con Artist in Old Airport Road, Jos South

Hookup Scam Alert: Beware of Alleged Con Artist in Old Airport Road, Jos South — 1 of 2
1 / 2

A public warning about an alleged late-night lodging and hookup scam in Jos South. Reports claim a woman known as Patience (aka Zazzy Gobak) has lured men into paying for sex and lodging she never provides. She supposedly asks clients to pay upfront, then vanishes under the pretext of fetching room keys, leaving victims stranded and out of money. The scam is said to occur in poorly lit, isolated areas around Old Airport road. Victims are unable to trace her location, making recovery of funds difficult. She allegedly uses false identities, claiming to be a student at a local college or staff at a paint company. Safety tips: • Never pay strangers upfront for personal services • Meet only in well-lit, public places • Inform a friend of your whereabouts • Trust your instincts if something feels off

It's curious that this alleged scam surfaces mainly via social media posts without formal police reports.

I get the concern, but isn't it possible some reports are exaggerated without verification?
