The change comes as some Nigerians call for a boycott of South African entertainers and businesses following reports of xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa and the deportation of Nigerians accused of immigration violations. Tyla and her team have not issued a statement explaining why the Lagos date was removed. It is therefore unclear whether the boycott campaign influenced the decision.
