1 / 4

The management of Adamawa State College of Education, Hong, recently held two interactive meetings with non-academic staff and with members of the College Staff School. The Registrar, Alhaji Shuaibu Ahiwa, raised concerns over lateness, unauthorized absences and early departures, warning that such practices undermine the institution’s smooth operation. Provost Prof. Benson Yusuf Baha commended employees for their dedication despite economic challenges. He highlighted recent TETFund-sponsored conferences and other capacity-building programmes as key investments in staff development. Interactive question-and-answer sessions gave employees the chance to discuss welfare, workplace expectations and policy clarifications. Management assured continued engagement and support for a more disciplined, productive environment.
