AAUA, Akungba Monarch Seek Stronger Partnership on Security, Hostels and Solar Power
The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, has met with the Alale of Akungba Land, Oba Isiaka Oseni Adu, to strengthen cooperation between the institution and its host community. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tomola Marshal Obamuyi thanked the community for its support and identified key university needs, including more academic buildings, student hostels and solar power to improve learning and research. The monarch called for stronger campus security, road-safety education for students and fair employment opportunities for qualified indigenes. He also urged the university to develop income-generating ventures rather than depend solely on state allocations. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful coexistence, educational development and a stronger university-community partnership.
